Speed bike sales in the Netherlands up 30% in 2015

In the Netherlands, sales of speed bikes grew significantly in 2015, increasing more than 30% over the previous year.
Approximately 3000 electric bicycles were sold in 2015, according to VWE, a company that specializes in tracking registrations.
Sparta took the largest market share in 2015, with 1535 units sold, followed by Riese & Müller (907 units) and Stromer (472 units).
