Lukoil flushing oil

Lukoil flushing oil

During the operation of an internal combustion engine, harmful deposits accumulate in the form of varnish-lubricating films, metal wear products, solid slags. Fragments fill the channels, penetrate the mechanism and contribute to the wear of the pump gears. The task of a major overhaul is to remove these deposits manually or mechanically. The process is expensive, because car owners often choose cleaning without disassembling the engine, for example, filling in Lukoil flushing oil for the subsequent replacement of the technical fluid.

Brief description: Detergent composition Lukoil is used to clean the engine without disassembling it. It has a strong dissolving effect. It quickly reaches distant cavities where unwanted deposits are concentrated.

Instructions for the use of flushing oil Lukoil

Car developers expect the owner to timely replace the technical fluid (reducing the service interval in cases of increased operation), buy oils that are suitable for viscosity, composition and manufacturer’s standards, do not choose one “craft pallet”, rinse (including intermediate ones) when choosing a new composition with a different base. The process itself is usually not difficult:

  1. The engine warms up for 15-10 minutes.
  2. Turn off the ignition and drain the used oil, waiting for it to completely drain from the sump.
  3. They clean deposits, best of all, mechanically, after removing the tray.
  4. Change the filter and fill in flushing oil; the level is determined by the dipstick (it is also recommended to change the filter before the next filling with new oil).
  5. Start the engine and let it idle for 10-15 minutes
  6. The car is turned off and left for several hours.
  7. Next, briefly start the engine, turn it off and immediately drain the oil.
  8. To remove the residual discharge, turn the starter several times without starting the engine.
  9. The tray is removed and washed.
  10. Replace the filter and fill in new Lukoil oil.

Important! Do not start the engine with washer fluid. Such actions usually lead to the need for major repairs.

Technical characteristics of Lukoil flushing oil for 4 liters

Consider Lukoil washer oil article 19465 from a domestic manufacturer. Usually sold in plastic bottles marked "Lukoil flushing oil 4l"; a container of this capacity is recommended for most passenger cars with small engines. When the maintenance instructions require large volumes of oil, two canisters are purchased - the engine must not be operated at a low level (including the flush period).

The additives contain a special ZDDP component against wear. Fluid composition — Kinematic viscosity with a coefficient of 8,81 mm/cm2 for 100 °C, which contributes to better penetration into hard-to-reach places. To neutralize the acid of the lubricant, special additives are provided, which are based on calcium compounds. After the engine cools down, the viscosity of the product increases; if the temperature drops to 40°C, the density is 70,84 mm/cm2. We list the main characteristics:

  • Suitable for any car;
  • The suitable type of fuel is diesel, gasoline or gas;
  • Designed for 4-stroke engines with crankcase lubrication technology;
  • Viscosity level - 5W40 (SAE);
  • Mineral base.

Lukoil engine oils are offered by car services in four-liter and larger containers with the corresponding article number:

  • For large capacity 216,2 l, article 17523.
  • For a capacity of 18 liters - 135656.
  • For 4 liters - 19465.

Detailed technical characteristics of the most common oil with article number 19465 are shown in the table.

Advantages and disadvantages

The cleaning option described above eliminates the need to disassemble and disassemble the engine. Significantly saves time and investment: for 500 rubles, you can bring a heavily clogged engine back to normal and restore its original characteristics.

Lukoil flushing oil

The disadvantage here is the lack of visual control. In addition, detergents can contribute to the formation of large scale elements that do not pass through the filter. Such foreign bodies can damage the oil pump or clog oil passages.

Important! Detergent oil is used under the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Determining that a download has occurred may void your dealer's warranty.

Differences from analogues

There is no noticeable difference in flushing agents - any oil of this type effectively fights coke deposits (including Lukoil flushing oil for diesel engines). The main condition is that the engine must be kept in good condition. As for the composition of additives, Lukoil washing oil for 4 liters, article 19465, also does not differ from imported analogues. The advantage of the products of the Russian manufacturer lies in a more affordable cost.

When to Flush

The country the manufacturer of the car does not matter: it can be both a domestic car and a foreign car, without taking into account the fuel being poured. We list when washing is usually done:

  • If you decide to switch to a new type of engine oil, flushing is required even if you are switching to a new type of oil from the same manufacturer, because different additives are used;
  • When changing the type of oil, for example, switching from mineral to synthetic;
  • When buying a car with high mileage and without accurate information about the timing of oil changes and the type of oil filled in the engine.

In addition, this procedure is recommended to be carried out every third filling of new oil.

Now you know how to wash the engine yourself and with minimal investment, thereby ensuring the flawless functioning of your own car.

Flushing oil reviews

Elena (owner of Daewoo Matiz since 2012)

I change the oil with the change of season, before winter. I turn to a car service to a family specialist. Unfortunately, our family does not have a well or a garage. At the next replacement, the master advised to wash the engine. I bought a four-liter canister of Lukoil oil and he told me that it can be stretched for two approaches. I was pleased that for 300 rubles the engine was cleaned twice.

Mikhail (Mitsubishi Lancer owner since 2013)

Having gathered before the winter to replace the mineral water with semi-synthetics, I decided to try to rinse it in five minutes. First fill with Lavr oil, let the engine run, then drain. The contents poured out without clots. I did the same with Lukoil oil - I got a blush with curled lumps. It turns out that washing with Lukoil cleans more efficiently and costs less.

Eugene (owner of Renault Logan since 2010)

I flush every three oil changes. I warm up the engine, drain the old oil, fill in the Lukoil flush and let it stand for 10 minutes. Then drain the water to check for dirt. I believe that if the engine is not flushed, then deposits will fill the channels and stick to the internal surfaces of the mechanism.
