Simple ways to drive safely (video)

Simple ways to drive safely (video) Knowledge of automotive systems, proper wipers and good brightness lamps are just some of the aspects that every driver should keep in mind.

To ensure their safety, especially in the autumn-winter season, drivers most often think about changing tires on a car. However, they often forget about other basic activities.

Many drivers do not know how modern security systems work, and there are those who do not even know that they have them in their car. The problem is also in their correct use. The ABS system is responsible for preventing the wheels from locking up. The ESP system, in turn, prevents the car from being thrown out of the corner - it stabilizes the vehicle.

Visibility is an important element when it comes to safety. The main elements that the driver should pay attention to are wipers and light bulbs. When replacing summer tires with winter tires, it is also worth asking a mechanic to check the operation of the brake system.

Not all drivers are aware that, in addition to the battery, the car has a system of devices that together are responsible for supplying electricity to all receivers and ensuring its replenishment. Taking care of their condition is just as important as battery health. Therefore, you should not underestimate the red battery light on the dashboard and the creak of the V-belt or V-ribbed belt. A lit warning light indicates a malfunction of the alternator, and a creaking belt indicates incorrect tension, which, in turn, can lead to undercharging of the battery. The battery also doesn't like to be recharged, as evidenced by the dark brown or black color at the bottom of the degassing plugs.
