Zafira has also proven to be safe for children. The car received four stars for protecting the smallest passengers. In addition, the vehicle already complies with the pedestrian safety guidelines that have come into force in the EU since October 2005.

Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program) is an independent organization established in 1997. It determines the level of safety of new cars on the market. Euro NCAP tests are performed by simulating four types of collisions: frontal, side, pole and pedestrian.
