Racing Point: a story

Stable Racing Point takes shape in the summer of 2018 when a consortium of investors led by the Canadian billionaire Lawrence Walk (pilot's father A spear) and compiled by, among others, the United States. John Idol (General director Capri Holdings, a fashion giant that owns brands such as Michael Kors, Versace e Jimmy Choo) buy Force Indiaentered into bankruptcy proceedings due to too many debts.

The Indian team loses all points accumulated before the Hungarian Grand Prix, restarted from the Belgian Grand Prix with a new name (Racing Point Force India) and a new license in the UK, but before the end of the season, for regulatory reasons, Force India for all effects.

2019

La Racing Point officially debuts with a new name in F1 world 2019... The pink livery is similar to the Force India livery (with an additional shade of blue due to the new main sponsor. SportsPesa (Kenyan betting giant) and Mercedes engine renamed, again for sponsorship reasons, BWT (Austrian company specializing in the water treatment sector) Mercedes.

The newly formed British team is at the start of the first round of the Australian GP with two riders: a Canadian. Lance's walk (new from Williams and the son of the team founder Lawrence Walk) arrives 9th and gives the team the first points in the opening match, while his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez (in Force India last year) should be content with 13th place.
