RadMission: the new low-cost city electric bike

The latest model from Rad Power Bikes will go on sale in Europe in fall 2020. Despite the tempting price tag, its very classic styling certainly won't work in an anthill in the e-bike market.

Little brother wants to grow up

RadMission is the seventh electric bike from American brand Rad Power Bikes. Founded in 2007 by Mike Radenbow, the company has become prominent in the electric bike market in the United States and is launching versions of its products in Europe. The RadMission is clearly distinguished by its very competitive price (€1099) compared to its older brothers, which range between €1199 and €1599.

Lightweight walking bike

Designed for urban use, the new Rad Power e-bike is much lighter than other models from the brand, but weighs 21,5 kg (including battery).

A cool trick is the Twist Power Assist walking assist feature that allows you to reach speeds of up to 6 km / h while walking. Otherwise, the RadMission lives up to the usual specs of an electric bike: 250W motor, 25km/h top speed, 45 to 80km range, built-in brake lights. A classic bike, even a little old school with its pushbutton controls and single speed gearbox.

Lots of customization options

The RadMission, like most Rad Power Bikes, comes in several colors and two sizes. Black, gray or white, you can add many accessories to optimize your performance. Lights, mirrors, luggage racks, saddlebags, pedals and colored handles ... These attachments are not only practical and well made, but they also allow cyclists to take their bikes in an unusual way.
