Updated for 2018

The law on electromobility has been in effect in Poland since February 2018. parent against any local ordinances [which I discussed with the police quite some time ago - see the video below]. The Electric Mobility Act allows electric vehicle owners to:

  • ride the bus lanes,
  • to park in paid parking lots for free.

In addition, as of July 1, 2018, electric vehicle drivers can apply to their city / municipal authorities to obtain an “EE” sticker for electric vehicles. Read more about this in the article:

According to the resolutions of the City Council in Radom No. 180/2105 and 216/2016, owners of electric and hybrid cars who live in Radom can purchase an Eco subscription in the city. It entitles you to park in the paid zone for 360 days. The cost of such an almost annual subscription is PLN 15.

For the same subscription fee, owners of combustion cars are PLN 100 for residents of Radom and PLN 1 for people from outside the city.

To purchase an Eco subscription, it is necessary to report to the Municipal Road and Transport Authority (ul. Szewska 10, apartment 1) with an ID card, registration certificate and a car approval certificate confirming its low or zero emissions.

The privileges do not apply to cars powered by hydrogen cells.
