Ram recalls nearly 170,000 trucks due to loose lug nuts

If you believe your Ram has been affected by this issue, please contact Ram Customer Support or wait until the manufacturer notifies you. Remember that this malfunction may compromise your visibility while driving.

Ram is recalling about 171,789 pickup trucks over concerns that windshield wiper arms could become loose and reduce wiper performance in adverse conditions.

The models affected by this recall are the 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 pickups, specifically the 2019 and 2020 models.

Luckily, fixing this problem is simple: Ram just needs to re-tighten the wiper arm nuts.

The automaker will do this recall work for free, as is the case with all recalls. Ram will contact the owners of the affected vehicles or receive a notification around March 18th.

If you are the owner of one of these trucks and believe you are one of the affected models or have questions about this recall, you can call Ram Customer Service and quote the Z08 recall number.

Don't forget to take your truck in for repairs, it'll be free and will keep your windshield wipers working properly when you need them. Don't forget that good visibility is very important to reach your destination safely, especially during the rainy, snowy and foggy season.

Good visibility helps you pay attention to everything that happens in front of your car, especially during this winter season. That's why it's very important to keep your car's windshield wipers in good condition.

So before it's too late, check the wipers and if they're inside the Ram, call back. This is a simple process that you can do yourself without having to pay someone to do the work.
