Forecasters see in their visions swarms of machines revolving around us. The ubiquitous robots will soon repair this and that in our bodies, build our homes, save our loved ones from fires, and mine the neighborhoods of our enemies. Until the tremor passes.

Many believe that robots and related drones will very soon begin to make decisions independent of humans. US Customs and Border Protection are using drones to track smugglers and immigrants who cross borders illegally. NASA's Global Hawks collect weather data and track hurricanes at close range. In Poland, they will be used by road boars to track pirates and meteorological services.
