How much does it cost to repair a broken mirror?

The price of the mirror also includes the cost of painting the body color of the plastic trim, which is usually sold in black, and the cost of assembly.
A damaged mirror does not require immediate replacement. Since the complete assembly consists of several parts, it is necessary to inspect them and identify what is broken. Since the used car repair parts market is of great value, specialized factories have been established to produce after-sales repair parts professionally and with good technology. Factories producing parts for the first assembly with the logo of the car manufacturer also supply cheaper parts without markings. Professional companies distribute these products and you should look for replacements for expensive parts at an authorized workshop.
Since insurance companies take depreciation into account in their calculations, it became completely unprofitable to use parts from the group for the so-called first assembly during post-accident repairs. This pattern also applies to mirrors. If individual components are damaged, the savings can be significant. Of course, assembling and fitting parts costs money, but if someone has some mechanical skills, then he can do it himself. Complete mirrors with mechanical control, due to their lower complexity, are about two times cheaper than mirrors with electrical control and heating. It is a good idea to visit the websites of various suppliers, as they offer much cheaper parts than authorized service stations.
