Distribution of halogen bulbs

Distribution of halogen bulbsHalogen lamps are the most commonly used automotive lamps. The principle of their action is simple. The flow passes through a special fiber placed in a glass flask and impregnated with a special gas (for example, iodine or bromine). When the fiber is heated, a chemical reaction occurs in which the material of the fiber vaporizes and settles again at the hot spots. The simple design has, in addition to lower efficiency, another disadvantage. Lamps, especially their filaments, are subjected to constant shock in the car, and the constant vibration of the filaments weakens their strength until they break. Halogen lamps can be replaced with xenon or bi-xenon lamps.

H1 a single-filament halogen lamp used primarily in headlights.

H2 A single filament halogen lamp is not commonly used.

H3 A single filament halogen lamp, used primarily in front fog lamps, has one contact with the cable.

H4 It is the most widely used dual filament halogen bulb used in headlights.

H7 This is a single filament halogen bulb which is also used in headlights.

It should be added that you must not take a halogen lamp with bare hands and do not contaminate its glass vessel.
