Rear window washer repair on Lada Kalina

Not so long ago I wanted to buy myself a new signal and still found a cool place where you can buy a quack. But after a long search, there was a small breakdown with my car.

The reason for the breakdown is, basically, the following: the tube through which the liquid enters jumps off the sprayer, and the water starts flowing not onto the glass of the car, but into the interior, right onto the rear shelf.

To fix this simple mechanism, you need to take a few simple steps. Open the trunk, and unscrew the black cover of the rear brake light, which is located on the rear window. There is nothing complicated there, you only need to unscrew two bolts. So, after unscrewing this shade, we can assume that half of the work has already been done.

Now we stick our finger into the hole where the very thin hose for supplying liquid passes, we find this hose with our fingers, and put it on the sprayer itself. And in order for the connection to be well fixed, you can put the whole thing on a sealant.

After all this simple repair, it is advisable to wait a few hours and not use the rear washer so that the sealant hardens and the connection becomes reliable so that you no longer have to unscrew the cover and do it all over again. Most often, the windshield washer hose jumps off because of the “good” Russians are expensive, so fixing it with sealant will not be superfluous.
