At that time, I did not have a category B exam, but I already helped unload, load and unload cargo, and you know how boring it was to drive those 80, sometimes "smuggled", up to 100 kilometers per hour in Slovenia?

I remembered this when I started Test Master. It is true that this time the load was only about 300 kilograms, and not more than one and a half tons, as much as it can carry (the empty weight of the vehicle is 1.969, and the maximum allowable total weight is three and a half tons. Half a ton), but with something happens quickly with such vans that many cars get in the way on the road.

In recent years, vans have not experienced terrible revolutions. Designers have updated the grille and headlights over the years, added new sheet metal breaks to the side and rear, and some passed.

The owner has one small and one huge in the door, on which you can swallow three bottles of one and a half liters, and to the left of the steering wheel there is one smaller (for "take-away coffee") two holes for the radio (?) And one large box above them, in the middle console is another drawer for two large bottles (so as not to stuff only the drink into the drawers, but this is the easiest way to represent the volume), one open and one locked drawer in front of the passenger compartment, two on the ceiling and in the right door as in the left and the fittings also have a clip for attaching documents (delivery notes, customer list, invoices ...).

Yes, and a box under the right passenger seat. In short, there is enough storage space in the cabin.

Not to mention the hard and durable plastic it should be, it was the drivers seat one of the few things we would like to criticize. It seems too soft and does not support the spine well, so the back is arched, like in an old chair. Given that the hours spent behind the (flat) steering of such a van are usually not short, in our opinion, drivers would deserve more.

engine it has the same volume in all versions, but different maximum power - you can choose between 100-, 120- and 150-hp dCi. The test had a built-in middle ground motor and was powerful enough to be indulged in speed within the prescribed limits, but we never fully loaded it.

If you are going to carry a heavy load, you will probably need an additional 30 "horses". In sixth gear at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, it hums at only 2.500 rpm, so the consumption is moderate. We measured it twice and both times up to the tenth calculated the same consumption of 9 liters per hundred kilometers. The gearbox is cold and slightly resists shifting into second and third gears, but otherwise works fine.

In cargo space? Usefully square, with four standard 10cc mounting clamps. M (middle wheelbase, raised roof) and a shelf above the cab with a lifting capacity of 8 kg.

Otherwise, the wizard is available in three wheelbases and three heights with a cargo volume of 8 to 13 cubic meters, but you can also think of it with an open cargo hold, with a double cabin (for an additional four passengers in the second row), as a passenger (for nine passengers) and even as a mini bus for transporting 16 people.

They deserve praise excellent two-piece mirrorsthat perfectly illuminate the events behind and next to the car, as it is important to know that due to the lack of a window in the second row, the side view before overtaking is not very useful.

Transparency Thanks to the large windows, the angular shape and the high position of the driver, this is good, the wipers also do the work, wiping almost the entire surface, only on a cold morning it takes several kilometers or minutes of engine operation to warm up. up and dew. Great diesel, by the way.

Speakers they are good enough to hear traffic news and you can forget about good music, especially at high speeds, when wind noise interrupts the silence in the cabin.

Many of us have driven a little less than a thousand miles, and if we finish below the line - the car serves its purpose...
