Renault Megane RS 275 CUP

In the middle of a hot morning, when I was painting my nails, I was disturbed by a phone call from one of the owners of the auto shop, who offered me a carcass that would need a muzzle to protect it for several days. Well, not quite with these words ...

“Baby, we have one Megan for you. It's yellow, I hope you like that color,” Seba told me over the phone. I quickly calculated that it would be a good idea to leave my shelf (Polo Fox, 94, with red trim) with mechanic Janez for a few days to scratch it a little… “OK, I'll take that, let it be, because it's just a holiday” . In a village where I'm considered a sponsor due to frequent sheet metal changes and supposedly a man, everyone will see that I lowered the standards (the last time I drove a Peugeot 380 GTi into my mother's yard, for which Peterhansl and I tested almost simultaneously - okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but not much), but you don't look the test horse in the mouth.

Renault Megane is still better than city bus, Mercedes up or down. And then a surprise that made my heart beat in sport mode. The view of the Megana RS 275 Cup, parked in the editorial parking lot, was bright yellow, a feeling close to the ecstasy that would have swept over me if Peteransel invited me to sit in the passenger seat. How profitable not to go on vacation! How glad I am that I do not suffer from alcoholism anywhere in Greece or Sardinia, like my fellow car shops! There was a yellow bomb in front of me.

A turbo bomb from the Renault Sport workshop that would otherwise explode after a while at 275 rpm, after which there is a big explosion and the first paramecium inhabits the seas and the French stallions rumble as if accompanying Napoleon back to Josephine. Last time I promised myself that for once my test would be decent, but it won't work - they gave me the wrong car! All the associations I have with this somewhat retro road warrior are for adults only, and apparently the car also conveyed some sex appeal to me as well. That evening I met my racing gang in Lepa Loga. It's time for a regular "update" of news from rallies and other races, about girls from the grid and typically Slovenian motorsport issues. A few jokes fell on my shelf, so the key to the heart of the yellow sex bomb accidentally fell from my purse onto the table. Sometimes the lambs are silent, sometimes the neighbors, and this time the wolves are silent.

The Megane RS has obvious mega-miraculous power, and I received congratulations on completing the test car, an alleged promotion on the editorial board of Avto magazine, and a bunch of compliments for completing it. When I talked about my feelings while driving, new fans were already eating out of my hands. Quite right, the feeling when you sit in the sporting circles of a road warrior with a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine evokes an electric race. With speeds ranging from six seconds to 100 kilometers per hour, a top speed of 255 kilometers per hour, 360 Newton meters of torque and 19-inch black Turini Speedline wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza mega tires, anyone can escape, but the disadvantage is that the car is always, but always faster than the set speed.

And it's not just about acceleration or speed! The essence of this, I call it a "comatose" racing car is the feeling of racing from G to C - from the garage to the finish line. He literally burrows his nose into the turns, jumps out onto the road like a male couple, and sticks to it, like a predator to its prey. I copy from Top Gear magazine Ford Focus RS, Seat Leon Cupra, Honda Civic Type R, Ford Fiesta ST, Peugeot 308 GTi, Suzuki Swift Sport, BMW M135i, Volkswagen Golf GTI and Škoda Octavia vRS. If I want this forever? What a dumb question now?!

We praise and reproach

Recaro half-race seats that fit every ass like a dad and mom, a red seat belt (fits nicely on a little black dress), Őhlins shock absorbers for a blissful feel, Akrapovich's rocker voice, a cheeky click for a happy December all year long, retro dashboard (I a bit old-fashioned), strong heart (the car store owners actually drove this up to the blockade at 250 mph on some unnamed plane, and I just dreamed about it).

Here this paragraph took me the most time. I thought long and hard, but found only one thing: the car is not mine. Yes, and not a family. And it was very difficult for my grandmother to get into it. However, he admitted that it paid off ...
