Renault Scenic dCi 105 Dynamic

We can say that the smaller Scenic is separated from the larger only by the size of the case, but this is not true. They have quite a lot of original visual changes.

While the front and rear lights of the Grand have been pushed outward, giving it an obvious one-seater shape, the Scenic has a beautifully shaped "face" of the car. So he looks more like a very pleasant-looking Megan.

If we devote ourselves inside, we'd say the numbers don't tell the whole story. Liters and millimeters on paper are something completely different than actually properly used space. And Scenic offers quite a few good solutions here.

It's good to see Renault take a close look at the use of space. Let's start with back bench... It is divided into three parts, each of which can be moved longitudinally, folded and removed. Note: Removal requires a strong male hand if not a miner in the quarry.

The storage space is huge and very useful as it is in very convenient locations. Between the front seats we find the well-known useful movable chamber in Renault, in which we put a whole dash and a half.

Luggage compartment it will be ideally used, mainly because the bottom is completely low and flat, and the added bonus is that the tracks do not protrude too much inward, and thus we get a usable width. Some suitcases are indeed larger, but what if, due to the superficial layout, we can only fill them with scattered apples and not large suitcases.

About aesthetics workspace we cannot talk about the driver in excess. However, it is ergonomic and the layout of the buttons is logical. Also on new meters we just got used to it.

Management navigation devices This can be a bit of a problem at first, but once you get it all clear, the right choices are quickly transferred from your fingers to the screen.

We doubt any Renault equipped with a card to unlock, lock and start the engine hands-free, would forget to praise the deal. It is simply the best system currently available for remote control central locks - definitely worth highlighting in the list of accessories.

Another thing worth paying extra for too, but we didn't find it on the test machine, is parktronic behind. Scenic is a well-transparent car, but the flower bed quickly hides under the bumper, and you have to pay more for repairs than for sensors.

This Scenic was driving 1 liter turbodiesel, which can produce 78 kW. We would love to write that this engine is a good choice for this car, but unfortunately it is not. When cruising at higher revs, it still defies demands well, but at optimal turbo pressure, it just feels lazy. Everyone in the test group had trouble climbing uphill.

Either the car stopped in the middle of a slope with the engine off, or we were driving uphill with ugly wheel slip. We highly recommend you take a look at the 1-liter turbocharged petrol engine that has already impressed us in this version.

On the contrary, they impressed us handling and lightness driving a car. You can feel that Renault has corrected the influence of the power steering on the driving experience. The chassis is also well tuned for a comfortable ride, and the drivetrain is well tuned and easy to shift.

Hack and predictor Aviator so be it: if you're looking for sportiness in minivans, look at the competition. At Scenic, the focus is on family and usability. However, if you really need a lot more liters in the trunk or another pair of seats, opt for the Grand Scenica.
