La Renault mascot it is the flagship of the French manufacturer, built on the extended Megane floor. We have already tested it in the dCi 130 EDC and TCe 200 CV versions, but this time we tested the version equipped with dCi 160 engine in conjunction with EDC automatic transmission in limited edition World-class... city

A luxurious and bulky car (485 cm long), of course, does not find its natural habitat in the city. However, due to the presence 4Control (four-wheel steering) excellent maneuverability is felt even at very low speeds. Also front and rear parking sensors, as well as Rear View Camera, provide safe parking and easier travel in the tightest places. Always quiet and efficient change EDC.

Outside the city

Outside the city walls there Mascot definitely shows its strengths. It is extremely convenient, cozy and luxurious. It rides very well, especially in Sport mode (thanks again to 4Control), and has the right thrust. In my opinion, 160 hp. dCi are perfect for this model. They offer brilliant performance (within the limits of course) e consumption decreased. In mixed mode, in fact, with a little attention, you can drive more than 17 km with a liter of fuel. Excellent braking performance.

Even traveling down the highway, with Cruise control installed adaptive at 130 km / h, it's a great pleasure. In comfortable driving mode, the suspension becomes soft and the back massage system for the driver and passenger makes everything more pleasant. In addition, thanks to its excellent sound insulation, the km can be easily sanded. The engine is quiet and guarantees a consumption of about 6 l / 100 km.

Life on board

So much space inside for those in front and for those in the back. The car is ok finished and in the central tunnel there are only two hard plastics, from which even the most demanding ones can lift their nose. The interior is equipped with Renault Multi-Sense lighting system with Ambient Lighting, which gives the interior a chic and luxurious look. IN trunk it is big and guarantees from 515 liters to 1.022 with the rear seat folded down. Finally, this version World-class also has a hands-free car and trunk opening, as well as a new interior in clean skinthat add elegance and sophistication to the interior.
