The final educational picnic took place on Saturday and Sunday in the Szczęśliwicki Park in Warsaw. - We should finally realize that the human factor is very important in shaping road safety. It is up to us whether an accident will happen and what its consequences will be - says Deputy Commissioner Agnieszka Stypińska from the Road Traffic Office of the Police Headquarters - We show that it is influenced by even such trivial activities as packing luggage or choosing shoes for driving a car - he adds.

The organizers of the National Safety Experiment tested the state of Poles' knowledge of road safety using a specially constructed internet test. The results are appalling. Out of over 40 thousand people who completed the test, only slightly more than 1%. answered all questions correctly! - When we hear about dangerous drivers, we don't think about ourselves. It seems to us that they are going faster than we are. We do not think about our own behavior in road traffic - says Andrzej Maciejewski, Deputy General Director of National Roads and Motorways. That is why the organizers of the National Safety Experiment are planning the next editions of the event. - We will repeat the action as long as we raise the awareness of road users and change their behavior to such an extent that a weekend without victims will finally come true - adds Maciejewski.
