The luxury car that Victoria and David Beckham gave to son Brooklyn for their wedding

Victoria and David Beckham gave their son Brooklyn a luxurious and exclusive electric Jaguar XK140 Open Two Seater as a wedding gift worth approximately $500,000.

David Beckham and his wife Victoria did not skimp on their son Brooklyn's wedding gift and gave him a luxurious and exclusive electric car, which costs approximately $500,000.

This is a 140 Jaguar XK1954 Open Two Seater (OTS) fully electrified by Lunaz, a brand invested in by David Beckham.

This baby blue model is super-exclusive as Lunaz made it especially for the children of the former English footballer and his wife, New York actress Nicola Peltz.

The car was built in England

It is a classic convertible model that has been invested with thousands of hours of work by 120 people, including electric vehicle (EV) developers and technicians, to meet the demands.

According to specialized media, the car was built in Silverstone, at the Lunaz plant in Northamptonshire, England.

This model has been built with the original aesthetic, but with suspension, braking and steering upgrades to make this classic an attraction you can ride every day.

Engine power

It is equipped with an XK6 engine with a 6-cylinder architecture with about 200 horsepower. The interior is cream colored, as is the original design.

Despite the classic design, the installation has been electrified, and all hints of modern technology are a bit hidden.

Combination of classic and modern technologies

This is how the exclusive Jaguar XK140 Open Two Seater combines classic and modern, which is evident in the dashboard and switches.

Brooklyn Beckham, 23, and Nicola Peltz, 27, got married in April. The couple did not want wedding gifts, but made a special request to their guests to donate funds to altruistic associations in Ukraine that support war victims.

However, Victoria and David Beckham did not want to miss such a solemn event and decided to give their eldest son something luxurious and exclusive, conditions that the electric Jaguar XK140 Open Two Seater undoubtedly meets.

The newlyweds did not hesitate to release a luxurious electrified car on their wedding day.

David Beckham is a shareholder of Lunaz.

It was in June 2021 when David Beckham announced that he would be investing in Lunaz, the UK's fastest growing cleantech company, becoming the majority investor.

The reason why, without a doubt, his request for a luxury car for his son was not remorseful, since a "normal" client has to wait about two years for an exclusive design, in addition to paying a large sum to be on the waiting list. according to the Motormania website.

After delivering the luxurious and exclusive vehicle, the Lunaz CEO emphasized the importance of the majority shareholder.

“By creating this beautiful and electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honored to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz, and his family life,” said David Lorenz, founder and CEO of Lunaz.

Perfect gift

“This wonderful car is the perfect gift for their son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nikola on their wedding day. In every way, this extraordinary classic electric vehicle from Lunaz symbolizes a bright and positive future,” Lorenz said, according to what was posted on the website.

Later, David Beckham jokingly wrote that he regretted giving the car to his son Brooklyn.

I should have kept this car, it's so good @lunazdesign please make me one. Happy birthday mum @victoriabeckham,” the former footballer wrote on his Instagram stories.

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz got married in early April at a Jewish Rite celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, where luxury and elegance shone in every corner.
