2010 was the last year of production for the Dodge Viper before it took an extended hiatus from the automaker's lineup. He will debut again in 2013. The 2010 Dodge Viper is a two-seat roadster (convertible) and coupe with a huge engine, big power and sex appeal.

Main advantages

In fact, the only characteristic that matters here is the engine. The V10 Viper is more than capable of accelerating the car quickly. It was mated to an equally advanced 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

Changes for this model year

There were some changes under the hood of the 2010 model, including a shorter travel between fifth and sixth gears. The clutch assembly has also been lightened. Some new exterior colors were also introduced.

What we like

We love the pure adrenaline that the Viper exudes. This is an impressive car, both visually and mechanically. Power and performance are among the best among what the American automakers have presented. We also like the short-throw shifter as it allows you to change gears as fast as the engine can get you up to speed (which is very, very fast, in case you're wondering).

What worries us

While there is a lot to love about the Viper, there are some things that can get in the way depending on what you want to use the car for. Perhaps our biggest concern is that it's just not practical for everyday driving.

Fuel consumption alone is enough to eliminate this, but pair it with an extremely stiff suspension system and your body will thank you if you use an alternative method of working. Of course, the cost should be mentioned here - it's a lot for a car that you can't drive every day.

Available Models

One trim level is offered with the optional ACR package. The 2010 Dodge Viper is equipped with an 8.4-liter V10 engine capable of producing 600 hp. and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. Fuel economy is only 13/22 mpg.

Key Feedback

The 2010 Dodge Viper was not recalled.

General questions

The most common complaints about the 2010 Viper (or any model year, for that matter) are limited interior and cargo space, and a very harsh, rough ride.
