Easily assemble your Pinlock® in 3 steps!

With the onset of winter and a cold snap, the same biker chores often return: fog on the helmet screen. v Pinlock® it becomes important to avoid fogging due to the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the helmet. But how do you install the Pinlock® correctly? Alexis MASBOU, pilot partner Duffy and Christophe, Pau store manager, will give you their advice on install sound Pinlock®.

Step 1. Prepare to install the fog film.

Before you start working with your Pinlock® you need to keep your hands clean so that there is no grease or dust left between the helmet screen and the film. Then grab a cloth, towel, or any soft stand you can place your screen on.

Step 2. Remove the shield from your helmet.

Your workspace is ready, you can deleteyour helmet screen... Remove the screen and clean it with a helmet cleaner or just warm soapy water. Insist on the inside of the screen, because this is the side Pinlock® will stick.

Step 3: install Pinlock®

The last step, and last but not least, since it's time to ask your antibue film... Place the helmet shield on the fabric (outside), then insert the notches into Pinlock at the level of the pins inside the screen. To ensure a perfect seal between the screen and the film, gently press the screen against the fabric until the Pinlock® adheres.

If your Pinlock® is not installed correctly, you can always crush the screen in the same way as when installing to adjust it.

Le Pinlock® is in place, you can remove the protective film and assemble the screen.

You can test your screen by putting it on a cup of coffee! 😉
