Self-service: Bosch will place 600 electric scooters in Paris

After launching a self-service electric scooter service in Berlin last summer, Coup, a subsidiary of the Bosch group, chose Paris to host its fleet of vehicles in Europe's second capital this summer. A total of 600 electric scooters are expected in the French capital.

“We have received a lot of positive feedback from Berliners. The idea of getting around the city simply, quickly and smoothly on a fancy e-scooter is very popular. The success of COUP in Berlin encourages us to offer more mobility in another European capital ”, clarified Matt Schubert, President of Coup Mobility.

In terms of price, the ride will cost 4 euros for up to 30 minutes of use. As in Berlin, there will be no terminal systems. It is enough to park the scooter in the area of intervention of the coup commands, which will take care of recharging the batteries.

On the scooter side, the supplier's subsidiary is working with Taiwanese manufacturer Gogoro, which offers a 50cc equivalent model of the same name. See with original appearance.

The Paris Coup service will open this summer and will eventually include 600 electric scooters. Meanwhile, pre-registration is already open at www.coup.paris.
