The Swedish startup, which has introduced a new line of electric scooters, including a new three-wheeled model, continues to grow and wants to be present in 150 cities in Europe by the end of the year.

Like its competitors, the Scandinavian startup seeks to gain more independence by developing its own models. The Voiager line of electric scooters, called Voiager, was developed in Sweden and, in particular, offers the Voiager 2 model, available in two- and three-wheeled versions. The more stable three-wheeled version should allow the operator to expand their customer base while reassuring those worried about the risk of falling associated with the two-wheeled version.

Offering twice the range of current models, the new electric scooters from VOI are announcing a range of up to 50 kilometers per charge. Removable, the battery is easy to replace. This will facilitate recharging operations and maximize service availability.

The new electric scooter from VOI, mounted on 10-inch wheels, has a modular architecture. It is called the modular VOI scooter architecture and facilitates equipment repair and refurbishment operations. In terms of connectivity, Voiager 2 is packed with advanced features and offers navigation assistance, alerts and notifications.

150 European cities by the end of the year

The two- and three-wheeled Voiager 2 will be available this summer in cities where the operator is already present.

Launched in 2018, VOI announces that it has already completed over two million trips across Europe since its inception. By the end of the year, the operator plans to have a presence in more than 150 cities on the continent, as well as expand its vehicle portfolio with a new offering of e-bikes and e-cargo bikes. A case to follow!
