The fastest bikes in the world and their speed records. Which one is the best?

How much does 300 km/h cost? In fact, at this speed, you pass road poles 100 meters apart in just over a second. The fastest bikes in the world go much faster, but they are intentionally electronically limited. What is the fastest motorcycle in the world and can it be unambiguously stated? Which models are the fastest and which are the most powerful? Check out our list!

The fastest motorcycles in the world - who needs 300 km / h?

The average motorcycle user will never be able to ride a machine that can "pull" 300 km/h. And even if such an option appears, it will be difficult to achieve the described speed. So why produce machines with so much potential? For the same reason as cars. Numbers have always been the most appealing to the imagination of buyers, and it's the same with motorcycles. Therefore, the fastest bikes in the world must move as fast as possible and have as many horses as possible. Another question is whether such a speed can be achieved with normal driving. Here are some amazing patterns:

  • Suzuki Hayabusa;
  • MV Agusta F4 1078 312 rubles.;
  • BMW S1000RR;
  • Ducati Panigale V4R;
  • MTT Street Fighter;
  • Kawasaki H2R;
  • Dodge Tomahawk.

The fastest motorcycles in the world - Suzuki Hayabusa

What was the fastest bike in the world? This Suzuki model takes its name from the Japanese peregrine falcon, which can hunt prey at a speed of almost 400 km/h. Hayabusa does not go as fast, but boasts an incredibly powerful and huge engine. There is a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1300 cm³, which was increased to 1340 cm³ in the next version. Thanks to this, he eventually gave out 197 hp. While not currently number one, it does take its place in the group of fastest bikes in the world. The speed of the production model is 320 km/h. In addition, this will be discussed at the end of the article.

The fastest motorcycles in the world - MV Agusta F4 1078 RR 312

We are still looking for the fastest motorcycle in the world. The numbers in the name of this monster are not random. The 190-cylinder 4 cm³ engine is responsible for the power of 1078 hp. It is thanks to him that this two-wheeled projectile accelerates to 312 km / h. This car, thanks to a small curb weight (192 kg), has excellent acceleration. Of course, he copes well with overcoming the next kilometers of tracks and feels best on the race track. Although its owner can just as quickly jump around with it for morning buns (if one can afford to buy a flying arrow).

The fastest motorcycle in the world - BMW S 1000 RR is not the first on the list

German designers easily create impressively fast cars. This BMW has a top speed of 336 km/h. The motorcycle has a 4-cylinder 1 liter engine. The fastest motorcycles in the world can be accelerated to monstrous speeds with the help of something the size of a milk carton. At the same time, it was possible to squeeze out as much as 205 hp at a gallop. However, this is still not the car that reaches the highest speeds. We keep looking.

The fastest motorcycles in the world - Ducati Panigale V4R

Hell of a powerful and incredibly fast motorcycle from the Italian stables. Panigale V4R gives the driver the opportunity to use 221 hp. and accelerate the car to an electronically limited speed of 299 km/h. This technologically advanced machine will certainly be able to accelerate to a much higher level. It is worth noting that the development of such power is possible thanks to a 4-cylinder engine with a volume of less than a liter. No supercharger is used here, which makes the competition even more shaky, not to mention the rider.

MTT Street Fighter - the fastest motorcycle in the world?

American two-wheeled transport is an example of unusual design solutions. It surprises car lovers with its monstrous 420 hp engine. In a passenger car, such power is impressive, but we are talking about driving on two wheels! The fastest motorcycles in the world break new speed barriers, and this monster accelerates to 402 km / h. That's quite a lot, isn't it?

Kawasaki H2R - the fastest motorcycle in the world?

The Japanese motorcycle is certainly one of the fastest two-wheeled vehicles. It has a power of 310 hp. thanks to a supercharged one liter engine. As a result, he overcomes the first hundred in 2 seconds, and the counter stops at around 400 km / h. However, this amazing work of Japanese engineers has its conqueror. The other model, however, is controversial because some people do not consider it a two-wheeler.

The fastest motorcycles in the world approved for road traffic

The Dodge Tomahawk is the world's fastest road legal motorcycle. It was powered by a 10-cylinder engine straight from the Dodge Viper. So the unit produces 560 hp. and accelerates this unusual projectile to trifling 500 km / h! This is by far the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Interestingly, only 10 pieces of this unique model were produced. Some people wonder if this is really a two wheeler. It has 4 wheels. However, the world's fastest bikes elude the standards, so we can turn a blind eye to that.

Is the most powerful motorcycle in the world in our country?

We discussed the Suzuki Hayabusa model at the beginning. 1340 cc engine cm is still one of the most powerful when it comes to sports. In the series, it produces only 197 hp. However, a project is currently being developed in our country that requires verification of these data. Of course, little is left of the engine and gearbox present in the production versions, but thanks to the modifications and installation of the turbine, the engine produces 557 hp. Considering the fact that the design capabilities of this engine are estimated by the project owners at 700 hp, it's scary to think how fast this bike will develop.

For some time now, all motorcycles of major manufacturers are electronically limited to 299 km / h. Only from less official sources can we conclude what this or that model can actually achieve. However, it cannot be denied that 557 hp. Suzuki Hayabusa is the key to the door behind which you will find the fastest motorcycles in the world. We will see what the future will show in this matter. However, it is hard to expect the most powerful super-athletes to suddenly reduce their top speed. Everything currently made for the race track needs to be faster, more agile, lighter and more durable. Therefore, it remains to wait for new records.
