The car was produced from 1994 to 2001 with restyling in 1997. Fully galvanized and well painted, so in the absence of accidents, the paint can still be preserved. Of the engines, the simplest and most conservative 1,6 101 hp, as well as the powerful V6 with four valves per cylinder, are distinguished by increased wear resistance and unpretentiousness. The best transmission options are simple mechanics or automatic, which was installed in the block with the latest V6 releases.
Audi A6 C5
The second generation of A6 cars was produced from 1997 to 2004, restyling took place in 2001. In fact, this is the first full-fledged A6, since it became a simple renaming of the Audi 100 model. Everything has changed, from technology to appearance. The traditional galvanizing of the body was preserved, and its aluminum parts were used for the first time.

It represents a much more recent generation of machines from Ingolstadt. Moreover, it cannot be said that reliability indicators have suffered from this. Yes, the car is already more complicated than classic sedans and station wagons from Audi, dressed in a fashionable crossover-type body, saturated with electronic systems, but traditions have been preserved. Again, the highest quality of anti-corrosion protection, premium comfort and thoughtfulness of almost all solutions.
The disadvantages, as one would expect, are associated with the complexity of the technique. FSI engines, and especially TFSI engines, no longer have that oakiness, in the good sense of the word, that before. The company even had to tinker with the eradication of birth defects. Well, what is defect for Audi is normal for many others. If you choose a car with FSI 3,2 liters, then there will be no problems.
