The best-selling cars in Russia and the CIS for 2012 were recently announced. As many already guess, the best-selling cars will be domestically produced. And so it turned out. In the first place in sales is Lada Kalina, and the best-selling is Lada Kalina Universal.

The second place is naturally Lada Priora, which showed quite high sales this year. She did not manage to get ahead of Kalina, since the Priora has too high a cost. Well, in third place in this trio is the new state employee, recently released Lada Granta. The demand for this car is still very high due to its low cost, but in the near future we should expect a decrease in demand for Grant due to the fact that the car has risen in price by almost 40 rubles and will continue to grow in price.

After domestic cars in this list of the best-selling cars, there are budget foreign cars, such as Hyndai Solaris, Volkswagen Polo Sedan, followed by the familiar Renault Logan and Daewoo Nexia. Everything is already close to the fact that foreign cars are replacing the domestic auto manufacturer due to their high quality and low price.

Experts say that already next year 2013 the best-selling cars will not be of domestic production, as more and more foreign manufacturers produce high-quality budget cars, but Avtovaz, on the contrary, only raises prices for its already not very high-quality cars. So soon there will be fewer of our cars on the streets of the country, and even more so in big cities. Even now, if we take Moscow and St. Petersburg, then foreign cars are already among the leaders there.
