Cheapest way to get a Bentley in your driveway

With the new app, you can park your Bentley Flying Spur in your driveway, but the car will be completely digital.

If you've ever wondered what your home would look like with a Bentley parked outside, the ultra-luxury brand has just made it easy to imagine.

Launching a new smartphone app called Bentley AR Visualiser, the augmented reality software will park the all-new Flying Spur on any flat surface you point the camera at.

While the third generation Flying Spur has yet to receive a price tag in Australia, the outgoing version starts at $378,197 excluding travel costs for the base 373kW/660Nm V8 variant.

The new Flying Spur features a number of improvements over its predecessor, including LED matrix headlights, a longer wheelbase, four-wheel steering and an updated look.

The new Flying Spur is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 467kW/900Nm.

Driven by a rear-wheel-drive all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission, the almost 2.5-ton Flying Spur accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

While Bentley AR Visualiser users won't be able to experience the Flying Spur's acceleration, they will be able to step inside the ultra-luxury sedan to see the luxury-focused interior.

Users will notice a 12.3-inch infotainment system, wood trim, leather seats and diamond-stitched door cards.

The Bentley AR Visualiser app is free to download and is available for Android and iOS devices.
