The equipment of garages is also changing, because in the case of electric vehicles, computers with the corresponding software are needed much more than classical tools, and in the case of mechanical knowledge, power supply up to high voltages. Despite the low prices for electrical repairs, it is still not cheap, especially when it turns out that the electronics in the car are broken. In theory, EVs break down to a small degree, but you have to remember that most of them are brand new models that are often only covered by a two-year warranty. Electric vehicle service - what about batteries?

Electric vehicle batteries are a big problem for the future. Today it is not known what problems lie ahead. Of course, batteries, which account for a significant portion of the cost of electric vehicles, will be a key element in the case of used cars. Each battery will lose its performance over time and may need to be replaced. Interestingly, batteries do not like the lack of charging and charging with powerful chargers. In these two cases, their service life is significantly reduced, but in fact they also lose their parameters during normal use. These are very expensive items today, often accounting for up to half the cost of a new electric vehicle. When we buy such a car, this is also a challenge - it is much better to rent it now and not worry about it, whether we will have to sell them in the future and how many percent of their capacity will the batteries have then. This will remain a problem for a company that will lease such a car to us, for example, for a long term.
