The SEV company, known for its little electronic stunts with electric motorcycles, has just been taken over by the RGM group. An opportunity to give new impetus to a small manufacturer?

If SEV caused a lot of ink during the launch of its e-bike stunts in 2009, before going into electric bike production, the Ales-based company never managed to enforce its products on Marlet en masse. Following its first capital investment in September 2014, the RGM group has just bought back 95% of the shares in the company it now controls.

Presented as a specialist in the electromechanical industry, the group consists of 9 companies and has a turnover of 55 million euros. In an effort to reorient SEV's offering towards its original segment, RGM is ditching electric bicycles to focus on motorcycle offering, relocating production to Brassac Les Mines, the group's headquarters in Auvergne.
