While our tires are resting for the next season, whether they are summer or winter, there are a few things to remember to keep them in good condition. 
Immediately after removal from the car, it is important to clean the tires from dirt. This is especially important after the winter season, when salt, mud and sand can accumulate on the tire. After the summer season, check the side of the tires for damage from the strong sun and for small stones pressed between the tread blocks, which should be removed before storage.
And let's not forget the wheels as well. Regardless of whether they are steel or aluminum, they should be thoroughly washed and cleaned. Any mechanical damage, both dents and chips, should be removed immediately so that corrosion does not occur in these places.
With regard to the location of the tires, the method depends on whether they are full tires or solid wheels with rims. Tires with rims are best stored in pairs, one on top of the other, or on special hangers. Tires without rims are located vertically on the tread, one next to the other, but at least once a month they must be turned over to avoid deformation.
In addition, after thorough drying, it would be good to place each tire in a foil bag, which will additionally protect it from external influences.
The room in which the tires will be stored must be relatively dry. Too much moisture in the air is harmful, as are all sorts of chemicals that can directly attack a tire. These include automotive oils, lubricants, and various types of automotive fluids.
