Chevrolet Cruze 1.8 LTZ

While we can understand that the Cruze sedan was very well received in southern and eastern countries, it's even more surprising that this is also the case here. In particular, they told us that the sales ratio of limousine to limousine is 50:50, which is a unique phenomenon. Whether this is due to the prettier shape of the four-door or the later introduction of the five-door, it doesn't even matter at this point. That is why, whether you like it or not, the hatchback in the world is just a follower in our country.

I myself am more inclined towards the shape of a limousine, although I was born right in the west of our small country, so geographic origin is probably not the most important factor. Undoubtedly, however, it should be recognized that the sedan's trunk is easily accessible and due to puncture repair is also large. While the Golf has a 350-liter trunk and the Megane has a 405-liter, the five-door Cruze has 415 liters. Victory? Of course, if you do not think again about the sedan, which has 35 liters more, not to mention the upcoming van. There are no major breakdowns in the exterior and interior either.

The car is modern in style, freshly painted in keeping with the more traditional stance of its European rivals, and a similar story is also present inside. While those vertical black slats on the tailgate don't count at all, I was particularly disappointed with the workmanship. The contacts on the dash aren't quite the standard in their class, but once I managed to glue the bottom edge of the shoe (rubber base) to the plastic on the threshold when entering - and take it apart! Chevy, there's one more thing to do here.

Another disadvantage of this car was the engine. Given the displacement of the 1,8-litre engine, it is anemic and not at all harsh, the only bright spot being fuel consumption, which stopped at a modest nine liters due to a more dynamic ride. I don't know if the weight of the car (1.310 kg empty), the old design or the large ratio five-speed manual transmission is to blame for its weakness. Probably all of the above.

You can find comfort in the equipment, which is abundant on all cruises. The one at just under $ 11 has ESP, six airbags and air conditioning, while the more equipped LTZ also has 17-inch aluminum wheels, automatic air conditioning, six speakers, and a USB and iPod interface.

And the upholstery of the dashboard in front of the navigator seems to me to be a good idea, all the passengers noticed it and commented "in large numbers." In the chassis and steering response of the Chevrolet, America was not found, so the title of the article could also be "Gray and White Mouse."

So I really want to try another version with a turbodiesel. Another good 20 "horsepower", torque for sale and additional equipment will certainly leave a much better impression. Although then it is more difficult to talk about a price advantage ...
