Skoda Karok. SUV from the practical side, i.e. functional and spacious
One of the reasons for the popularity of cars from the SUV or crossover segment is their functionality. These vehicles have many solutions that are useful in everyday use and are invaluable during a holiday trip.
In a modern SUV, a large number of storage compartments, shelves and cup holders are a matter of course. Some models in this segment also have drawers under the front seats. A commonly used solution is adjustable floor shelving - if we don't need all the trunk space, we get extra space under the floor for small items. There are also additional storage compartments and special luggage equipment for securing luggage.
Some manufacturers go further and develop smart solutions to improve vehicle functionality. For example, Skoda, in its latest SUV Karoq, offered the VarioFlex system, thanks to which it is possible to increase the possibilities for arranging the luggage compartment. In this system, the rear seat consists of three individual seats that can be moved individually and completely removed from the vehicle. In this way, for example, the luggage compartment can be freely organized. The standard trunk volume of the Skoda Karoq is 521 liters. With the rear seat folded down, the boot volume increases to 1630 litres. VarioFlex allows you to adjust the capacity of the luggage compartment in the range from 479 to 588 liters. And if you remove the rear seats, then there is a roomy luggage compartment 1810 l.
In the trunk you will find a number of elements that make it easier to transport luggage, incl. a grid system to immobilize them, as well as three small compartments in which you can put small items. She will help at night LED lamp, which can be removed and used as a flashlight. A convenient solution is also a trunk roller shutter, which is attached to the hatch. This makes it easier to access the luggage compartment, as the sunblind rises with the sunroof.
The producer also thought convenient opening of the trunk lid from the outside in a situation where our hands are full, such as when we return to the parking lot with fruit or vegetables bought at the market. All you have to do is put your foot under the bumper and the sunroof will open automatically.
In addition, the Skoda Karoq found dozens of other interesting solutions. And so, there are bottle holders in the front and rear doors that can hold up to XNUMX liters of packaging. There are two smaller bottle holders in the retractable armrest of the rear seat. In turn, there is a multifunctional handle in the front of the cabin that allows you to open and close the bottle with one hand. On the other hand, under the armrest located between the front seats, there is convenient glove box where you can hide the keys to the garage or wallet.
There is a handle on the left side of the windshield that allows the driver to conveniently place a parking ticket. The cabin even has a small trash can that fits in the door pockets. The side door panels also have rubber bands to block large items in pockets.
In bad weather, when it rains, an umbrella is sure to come in handy. Like other Skód models, this useful item has also been equipped with a Karoq – The umbrella is located in the glove box under the front passenger seat.
The functionality of the SUV also includes the ability to install a towbar. An electric element can also be ordered for Karoq, which extends from under the chassis.
