The German industrial group Rheinmetall Defense, in addition to regularly participating in international exhibitions of military equipment and defense equipment, independently organizes numerous events to present its products to its current users, potential contractors and industrial partners, as well as representatives of the specialized media.

Such presentations serve a dual role. In addition to allowing solutions to be more fully presented during production or development, they serve to exchange views and better understand the needs of potential users. The latest event of this kind, organized by Rheinmetall Defense, was the Land Forces Symposium 2016, a symposium dedicated to the armament and equipment of the ground forces. This year, which took place on May 9-11, it became the largest. one is organized so far, and it was prepared in the area of the test center and test site Erprobungszentrum Unterlüß (EZU) of the Rheinmetall Waffe und Munition GmbH branch in Unterluss in Lower Saxony in northern Germany.
