DTC - What is Dynamic Traction Control?

The main purpose of DTC is to deactivate the anti-skid system, and at the same time increase traction on surfaces that are not hard. Find out what it is and why you should use it!

DTK - what is it?

DTC system, i.e. Dynamic Traction Control is a dynamic traction control system that greatly facilitates movement in difficult conditions. It is used in cars of a German manufacturer, in particular, in some BMW models.. This system is especially appreciated by drivers who love dynamic and sporty driving. The DTC causes slight wheel slip during dynamic acceleration. The DTC system in combination with DSC is adapted to difficult road conditions, such as on snowy roads or in the initial stages of rain.

What is the DTC system for?

The system is designed to perform two main functions. Firstly, in difficult road conditions, for example, when driving on snow, it stabilizes the track and increases driver safety. In addition, the active DTC system allows you to control the skid, so you can use the car to the fullest.

The DTC function works in conjunction with the DSC system.. The first is activated by a short press of the button, which activates the DTC system and limits the DSC system. Thus, the car allows the driver to better control the vehicle. In addition, the DTC automatically detects the moment of danger, due to which it starts automatically.
