The satellite navigation system makes it much easier to navigate the roads. It was recently available in Poland.

The satellite navigation system is offered in Poland by BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Owners of other brands can purchase a Blaupunkt navigator.  

 

A satellite navigation system is a handy device, especially when traveling on vacation. We enter the place where we want to go, and the system leads us "like a string."

The spread of satellite navigation devices in our country was limited by the lack of an accurate map of Poland.

 

The Mercedes-Benz navigation plate includes the Polish road network of 54 km (with the complete road network of Warsaw) and 600 km. cities and towns that you can select as destinations. The DVD also contains over 20 addresses. facilities such as restaurants, hotels and gas stations. In Poland, the navigation system is only available in cars with a DVD player (equipped with the COMAND system):

– S (V/V 220) from 09.2003

- CL (C 215) of 09.2003

– E (W/S 211) from model start

- OJ (R 230), 06.2004

– SLK (R 171) – new model – from 05.2004

– CLS (C 219) from 09.2004.

The BMW system works in a similar way. Offered on some models of this brand.

The Blaupunkt TravelPilot E1 navigator contains a digital map of Poland, the Czech Republic and the main roads of Europe. They can be installed on any car, regardless of brand.
