Removal and installation of engine protection 2105 and 2107
Engine protection on VAZ 2104, 2105 and 2107 cars is removed extremely rarely and this happens in the following cases:
- removing the generator
- replacing the protection itself
- removing the engine sump or replacing the beam
- replacement of chassis parts
In order to remove the engine crankcase protection, you will need the following tool:
- 8 mm head
- extension
- rattle or collar
How to remove engine protection on a VAZ 2105, 2104 and 2107
So, it is most convenient to carry out this repair in the inspection pit. If this is not possible, then you can raise the front of the car with a jack so that you can crawl under the bottom.
From below it is necessary to unscrew all the bolts securing the protection. Four of them are in the front:
As mentioned above, the ideal option is to use a ratchet handle.
It is also necessary to unscrew two more bolts on each side of the rear part of the guard:
And there are still two bolts on the sides - closer to the back, as shown below.
After that, you can remove the crankcase protection from the car without any problems, since nothing else holds it.
The installation of a new protection is carried out in the reverse order. Its price ranges from 300 to 800 rubles, depending on the quality and material of manufacture, as well as the manufacturer.
