2015 does not cease to "please" not only drivers, but also those who are just going to become drivers. The thing is that from January XNUMX, the cost of training at a driving school has risen significantly, plus fees have been introduced for passing practical and theoretical exams at the traffic police. You will also need to pay for each retake. We have already talked on the pages of Vodi.su about all the changes that have affected training in driving schools. In addition, driving schools themselves must now obtain the appropriate licenses in order to train future drivers.

So, consider this question - how long do you need to study in a driving school to get a driver's license?

Terms of training in a driving school in 2015 for category “B”

It will take longer to study. On various official websites, you can find the rationale for such decisions: the accident rate is constantly growing, beginners make elementary mistakes and violate traffic rules, thereby demonstrating that they have not learned anything in a driving school. Therefore, it was decided to increase the time allotted for classes.

If you went to take a category “B” license in 2015, you will have to spend a total of 190 hours, of them:

• 130 hours of theory;
• 56 - practice;
• 4 hours for exams.

Recall that earlier it was necessary to study 156 hours: 106 theory and 50 practice.

If desired, the student can pay for additional hours of practical classes. Please also note that the law states that practical training is given 56 astronomical, not academic hours. That is, you have to leave a full hour - 60 minutes, not 45.

Another innovation has appeared, which we have already talked about on Vodi.su - now you can take training on a car with an automatic transmission, which will be marked “AT” in the certificate. In this case, the theoretical course will be shorter - by two hours.

Terms of study for other categories

Least of all, those who want to get the rights of category “M”, which give the right to drive mopeds and scooters, will study the least. The course of study will be 122 hours: 100 theory, 18 practice and 4 hours for exams.

If you want to get the rights of category “A” or “A1”, then you will have to study for 130 hours: 108 theory, 18 practice and 4 for the exam.

To get the rights of category "C" or "C1" you need to study as much as for a car.

You will have to study for the longest time in category “D” - 257 hours.

Please note that these terms are indicated for those who came to study “from scratch”, that is, they receive the first rights in their lives. If you have an open category and you completed the entire training course in due time, then you will not need to retake the basic module. The base module is 84 hours.

The structure of training in a driving school

The basis of training in any category is the basic module.

It includes:

• Traffic rules;
• fundamentals of legislation;
• first aid;
• driving psychology;
• basics of operation and device of vehicles.

The duration of this course is 84 hours, and if you want to open a new category, then you do not need to retake it.

The practical part usually consists of training trips around the autodrome and at a later stage, when the student is familiar with the traffic rules and the basics of driving, he is allowed to travel to the city with the instructor.

At the circuit, they perform basic exercises, starting with starting and driving in a circle and ending with more complex ones:

• snake;
• starting off downhill;
• entrance to the box front and rear;
• reversal;
• parallel parking.

Driving around the city is allowed along strictly established routes, under the supervision of an instructor, it is forbidden to accelerate over 40 km / h. Practical tasks for freight or passenger transport are built according to the same scheme.

An important point: although the law says that one practical lesson lasts 60 minutes, this does not mean at all that you will “cut” circles around the site or around the city for an hour. This also includes paperwork and “debriefing”, that is, the instructor will work with you on some points that, in his opinion, are given to you worse.

When the entire course of study is completed, an internal exam is held, according to the results of which you will be allowed to take exams at the traffic police.

You can also clarify in each individual driving school how much you need to study in order to open a new category. For example, to change from a motorcycle to a passenger car or vice versa, it will be enough to unlearn just 22 hours. If you want to open category “C”, having “B”, you will need to study for 24 hours.

The longest time to retrain will be when moving from “M” to “B” - 36 hours, and from “C” to “D” - 114.
