Then add up all those values, but don't choose an aggregator that will connect all those devices together. You should choose equipment that will provide a much larger supply of energy. Depending on the type of device, the value should be between 1,2 and as much as 9 times higher.

Single-phase or three-phase generator?

Most appliances in the home are powered by a single phase. They require low voltage from 1 to 230 volts. Three-phase receivers consume much more power, up to 400 volts. The latter typically include appliances such as water heaters, household appliances and, for example, pressure boosters. Of course, a single-phase unit is best for single-phase equipment, and a three-phase unit is best for three-phase. If not adjusted, load unbalance may occur, so make sure all phases are loaded evenly.

Generator - diesel, petrol or gas?

In addition to the power and phase of the device, you also need to consider how it will be controlled. What can be poured inside is, of course, gas, diesel and gasoline. The first two are primarily characterized by great efficiency. Therefore, they are used wherever they need to work continuously, such as on construction sites. At home, their use is not justified (unless you use them as a targeted energy source, which is not profitable in the long run). Therefore, for your own needs, it is best to get a gasoline-powered generator, because despite the high prices for this raw material, it will be the most efficient.

Is it worth having a generator at home?

The decision to buy a generator should be made taking into account several factors. First, it is a specific type of work. Even a quiet power generator for your home will generate some noise, not to mention exhaust fumes. The second problem may be the need to select the appropriate equipment. Its adjustment is not easy, and there are many issues to consider. Third, and perhaps most important, is how dependent you are on a constant power source. If even a temporary power outage can cause big problems, the answer is obvious. It is also worth looking at how often failures occur and whether they bring large losses.
