Super73 R-Series Electric Mini Beach Motorcycle
A small all-electric bike in the style of the seventies, the Super100 "R-Series" promises up to 73 kilometers of autonomy and could soon land in Europe.
After launching its first electric bike in 2006, California-based startup Super73 is expanding its range with the R-Series, a fun car halfway between a bicycle and an electric motorcycle.
Up to 120 km of autonomy
From a technical point of view, the car offers four driving modes and develops a maximum power of up to 2000 W (rated power 750 W) at a maximum speed of 45 km / h.
The battery is clearly visible from the frame and has a capacity of 960 Wh, slightly more than some electric motorcycles. In autonomous mode, the manufacturer announces up to 120 kilometers using pedals, that is, work close to an electric bike, and up to 60 kilometers with a single throttle stick.
Coming soon in Europe?
Available for pre-order in California, the Super 73 RX is advertised at $ 2995 excluding taxes, or roughly € 3.300 when converted and French VAT added.
If the manufacturer does not indicate its ambitions for Europe, it is possible that the car will land in our regions. Super73 already sells two e-bikes there, with selling prices starting at € 2.290 in France.
