The debut of a more dynamic version of the front-wheel drive hatchback Suzuki Swift Sport took place in the summer of 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the third generation of the model. First of all, the car received a number of technical updates, thanks to which the car became more dynamic not only in appearance. As for the exterior design, it has changed the style of the grille, bumpers, exhaust pipes and 17-inch wheels.

Since the Suzuki Swift Sport 2017 is a more sporty Swift, it is entitled to the most efficient gasoline power unit. This is a 1.4-liter turbo four. A 48-volt starter-generator is installed to aid the engine. This system facilitates the operation of the internal combustion engine at the start of the car, and can also turn it off when the power unit goes into XX mode. The motor is aggregated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
