Reflector - determinant windshield

Reflector - determinant windshieldReflective - A thermally insulated windshield contains a thin layer of metal oxides that reflect the infrared component of sunlight. Thus, the intensity of the radiation entering the cabin of the vehicle is reduced, which contributes to lowering the temperature inside the vehicle. Thus, the operation of the air conditioner is more economical, and the effect is faster.

The windshield treated in this way has reflective and athermal properties. It is made of green tinted glass (5,4 mm thick), and a layer of metal oxides is applied between the outer and inner glass layers. This thin layer is capable of reflecting up to 25% of the thermal energy entering the car along with the sun's rays. Integrated into the windshield under the rearview mirror is an optical reading area that is not covered with a reflective oxide layer and is used to accommodate various remote payment cards (or GPS).
