Glowing license plate

It turns out that not only cars can be revolutionized. 3M has prepared a new solution in the field of ... license plates.

And this is not a spray that allows you to fool the speed camera.

A novelty was a thin-walled backlit license plate. It uses a lamp with a large illuminating surface, having the dimensions of a standard license plate. The lamp contains semiconductor LEDs, which requires connection to the car's on-board network 12 V DC. The license plate, placed on a plastic-framed lamp, is a combination of optical films that provide both the visibility of the license plate in reflected light, as in the case of traditional license plates, and visibility in the light emitted by the lamp.

Fortunately, the license plate will be available for purchase in Germany, most likely at the end of this year. It is not yet known when it will be offered in Poland.
