SYM E'X Pro: electric scooter for delivery

The small electric 50 from SYM presented at EICMA is primarily intended to attract the attention of delivery professionals.

At EICMA, electricity is often confined to "corners" at the stands of large manufacturers. The Taiwanese brand SYM is no exception to the rule and is presenting the eX Pro in Milan for the delivery market.

The new e-scooter from SYM, integrated into a new offering called 'B2B e-Moped', is designed to meet the needs of professionals for short-distance urban transportation. The SYM E'X Pro, equipped with a transport box and basket, has a total load capacity of 55 kg (25 at the front and 30 at the rear).

This motor is rather limited for a machine that has to carry a load, the motor's rated power is only 1,5kW (2kW peak power) at a maximum speed of up to 45km/h. The SYM electric scooter can accommodate up to two packs for a distance of up to 80km. Each battery is equipped with Japanese Panasonic cells with a capacity of 1,3 kWh (60 V - 22.4 Ah) or 2,6 kWh with two batteries.

On the bike side, the SYM electric model features disc brakes (front and rear), dual shock rear suspension and full LED headlights.
