Tata H2X first rode in front of cameras

A miniature SUV Tata H2X appeared on the roads of India. The car was pasted with camouflage film, but the visual appearance of the novelty is clearly visible. Most likely, the SUV will receive an engine from the more expensive Altroz model.

The H2X crossover was first shown to the public at the Geneva Motor Show. The presentation of the car took place in Europe, but India will become the base market for it. It was here that the SUV was first captured.

Commodity film did not stop to notice that the novelty inherited a lot from the original H2X concept. This is especially true for the back. Here, perhaps, only the spoiler is different: the novelty has a forked one. The rear door handles are still at the top.

Salon frames, of course, no. Presumably, it was simplified: an ordinary steering wheel instead of a helm, a separate multimedia screen, and so on.

This car will be the second to be built on the new ALFA platform. This is the base of Tata's own production. Recall that the Altroz hatchback, which appeared on the market at the end of 2019, became the debut model.

H2X, most likely, will be equipped with an engine from Altroz. Recall that the hatchback has a gasoline engine 1.2 Revotron at 86 hp under the hood. Auto definitely get front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive models are not popular in the Indian market.

It is likely that the car will be presented in February 2020 at the Auto Expo, which will be held in New Delhi.

There is no information on whether the car will enter the European market. However, there is every chance. Firstly, the SUV will soon acquire an electric version. Secondly, Europeans love compact cars.
