Tata Motors finds batteries for its Indica Vista EV

The battery in question will be manufactured by a Californian company. Energy Innovation Group Ltd... According to the terms of this agreement, GCOS must supply TATA batteries by 2012. The first battery shipments are expected during 2010, in line with TATA Motors' schedule, which announced earlier this year that the vehicle will arrive at dealerships at the end of 2010.
