TESLA. The air conditioner does not cool - what to do? [ANSWER]

Is it hot outside and Tesla's air conditioning is blowing warm air? What to do if the air conditioning was cooling before stopping and now it is not working? How do I find out why the air conditioning is not cooling the interior of the car?

If your Tesla Model S air conditioning suddenly stopped cooling, try the following options:

Make sure the air conditioning is on and the temperature is set to the desired one.
Check the weather outside the window. In very hot outdoor temperatures, high humidity or aggressive driving conditions, the car may temporarily reduce cabin cooling to cool the battery.

Check that you don't have temperature set to "Low" and airflow to "11". Change one of the settings if so.
Restart the computer - hold down the two scroll buttons for about 15 seconds until the screen goes black.
If possible, turn off the car and leave it for about 10-60 minutes.
Check if you have the current version of the software. The older ones had a bug that did not disable the airflow, but disabled the cooling.
