Tesla who? The Fisker Ocean Electric SUV Will Destroy Supercars - And It's Confirmed For Australia!

Fisker has released some incredible specs for its new SUV.

It's not easy to do that these days, but electric car company Fisker's new Ocean SUV will make Tesla seem slow, and the brand posted some amazing performance figures at CES in Las Vegas.

The headline here is its incredible speed, and Fisker promises its Ocean High Performance will be able to hit 100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds. This is real supercar territory, and only the most exotic (and expensive) cars in the world can keep up. 

On the other hand, the Tesla Model Y Performance (Ocean's closest competitor) accelerates to the same speed in 3.7 seconds. 

Of course, High Performance is the most expensive Fisker you can buy. The Ocean is also available as a base model, a rear-wheel drive vehicle with an 80 kWh battery and around 225 kW.

The Fisker Ocean is 4640mm long, 1930mm wide and 1615mm high and has a boot volume of 566 liters with the rear seats and 1274 liters with the seats folded down.

And in exciting news, Fisker founder and namesake of the company Henrik Fisker has already confirmed that the all-electric vehicle company will launch in Australia, with a launch estimated to take place in 2022 or later.
