Tesla is working on adding Apple Music and Amazon Music as new built-in music services to its electric vehicles.

While most other automakers are turning to phone mirroring with and Apple CarPlay to control media playback in its cars, the company is insisting on integrating music services into its own user interface.

For years, the automaker has integrated various music streaming services into its vehicles with built-in apps on the center screens. Tesla is most notorious for integrating Spotify into its vehicles.

Most recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that Tesla will add Tidal to its integrated music services, but now the automaker will too working on integration with Apple Music y Amazon Music.

Tesla hacker "Green" discovered early versions of Tesla's UI integration in a recent software update and shared the evidence via Twitter:

Looks like more sources of information are coming soon. Although this is not entirely true.

Looking at various media sources, there are a few new options, although they can't be used yet.

Based on this leak, the company is working on adding several new media sources, including Amazon Music, Audible, which is also owned by Amazon, and Apple Music.

Tesla drivers will be able to link their music streaming accounts to these services in their cars and use the services through the car interface instead of having their phones connected to Bluetooth, which of course is already an option. It's impossible to know a timeline for integration, but Green noted that Tidal appears to be the furthest in development.

With a lot of media reaching vehicles The automaker Tesla also recently released a new software update that allows drivers to hide media sources.. Now you can simply go to the settings and only show the media sources you actually use in the main user interface.

This feature will come in especially handy if Tesla eventually doubles down on the number of music services that can be linked to its cars, which is apparently what happened.
