Test: Mazda CX-3 – G120 Attraction

The design of the Mazda CX-3 is recognizable, pleasing and expresses dynamism. You could even say that this is a very good design example of how a crossover can look sporty.

Since the last renovation, we can only talk about minimal cosmetic refreshments, which indicates that they have already amazed the first with their shape. Even when we get inside and take the wheel, it becomes clear that this is a car in which the driver's workplace is well dosed. The comfort is enough for the average driver, and the sportiness that merges very subtly from the outside into the interior is very clearly emphasized. The materials are of high quality, the details are beautifully crafted and finished in general, which provides a pleasant feeling for the driver and passengers while driving.

Sports details, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter add a hint of prestige that puts the Mazda CX-3 half a step ahead of many competitors. She retains this advantage even when she leaves the city, as she makes it clear that her gasoline-powered heart is alive and not afraid of dynamic driving. A high-precision six-speed gearbox and a 120-horsepower four-cylinder engine ensure that the driver is never bored and, despite the dynamism, fuel consumption is not excessive. 6,9 liters per 100 kilometers is a solid indicator, far from being greedy.

If we only had to point out one thing other than shape, workmanship and detail, we would prioritize very good driving without much thought. Considering that this is actually an SUV with a slightly higher center of gravity, the car rides very well. The "SUV" is larger for the sample, with 115 millimeters off the ground it will be easier to drive over a curb or sidewalk than over a rock or ditch. But we suppose you will look elsewhere for a more off-road vehicle.

Otherwise, a very good car is a prong of the principle of time, where development is in a hurry, or rather: overtaking on the right. Consumer electronics, small screen menu control is outdated and slow. The rotary knob on the center console is a great solution, but only until you taste the freshest in the field at the competition.
