Off-road test: Lada Niva vs Mitsubishi Padjero vs Toyota Land Cruiser

It is not often possible to see a comparison of our domestic cars with foreign cars, especially in off-road conditions. This test - a drive with a video was recorded by amateurs who decided to compete in their cars and find out which of them will drive further along the area tightly packed with snow. The main participants in this experiment:

  1. Lada Niva 4×4 2121
  2. Mitsubishi pajero
  3. T
All the cars became on the same level, and then drove forward, punching deep snow with their bumpers. The winner should be the one who moves the farthest in his SUV in deep snow-covered area.
They all started in about the same way, but on the Niva at first it showed not a very good result, having driven only a few meters and stopped, sowing in the snow. After long races, the driver still managed to back up a little, and again make his way forward. The second, who also stopped, was Mitsubishi Pajero, although it drove a little further than our VAZ 2121. But the farthest from the first attempt was Toyota Land Cruiser.
Having driven a few more meters, Niva began to catch up with the Japanese Pajero SUV, and there were already a few meters between them, but before the very end, our car again sat down in the snow. And again the driver began to rock the car to try to reverse and push forward again. Within a few seconds, our Niva was ahead of Mitsubishi, but as it turned out, not for long. The Japanese again took the lead, and our SUV, judging by the description on the video, burned the clutch.
Then, they began to help the Japanese SUV in every way, which was also stuck in the snow, the drivers helped to dig it out with shovels. But in the end Pajero managed to get out of the snow and in the end it was this SUV that became the winner in this amateur Russian winter off-road competition. What would be the result of this competition if our Niva had not burned out the clutch - it's hard to say, but most likely she would have reached the finish line for sure, the only question is time. But judging by the many videos that can be found on the Internet, our SUV surpasses many foreign cars in terms of cross-country ability, including even those with which this time the competition was held.
