INGLOT Natural Origin nail polishes hit my dressing table at just the right time. Now my nails are in very good condition, but this was not always the case. Over the past year, I have focused on their recovery after a series of unsuccessful procedures. And we did it! I am satisfied with a good and durable plate that asks for a bit of color instead of a colorless conditioner.

In order for the effect after painting to be satisfactory, a little cleaning will still be useful. How to prepare nails for manicure? I took the following steps before testing new polishes:

• I soaked my cuticles - I held my hands in water with my favorite shower gel and massaged them.
• Once the skin on my fingers was sufficiently moist, I lifted and trimmed the cuticles around the nails.
• I polished the nail plate with a four-sided polishing stick, which also showed tiny cuticles, which I removed.
• I degreased the surface of my nails with a light, non-acetone makeup remover and washed my hands with my favorite soap.

The set of nail polishes I received contained about a dozen small bottles filled with pastel substances, as well as a base and top coat.

I was very pleased that the basic formula is part of the collection. Due to recent nail problems, I don't like to apply polish directly to an unprotected plate. Here is how all tests of the INGLOT Natural Origin series were carried out:

• I started by applying one layer of the base - it has a liquid consistency. As a result, a very small amount is enough to accurately cover the entire plate. After applying it, the nails shine beautifully and become even. The brush caught my attention. Its rounded shape makes smooth and precise strokes very easy.
• While the formula was drying, I chose the colors. I always leave this stage to the last possible moment, because I am very hesitant when it comes to paint color and in time pressure it is easier for me to decide which shade I like. The color palette encourages the combination of certain shades, so I tried to choose 2-3 polishes in the first place. I wanted to create a pastel composition and it turned out quite interesting.
• I started applying the polish with my little finger. I quickly noticed that with the round applicator, I can cover the smallest nail at once - without any correction at the root. By the way, I also appreciated the coverage. After that one hit, there were no streaks left on the plate. In fact, I could have finished my manicure at this stage, but I knew that I had to check how the cosmetic behaved when applied in two layers.
• After applying the first layer, I waited 2-3 minutes and applied the second. Thanks to this, the color was strengthened, but the coating itself was durable from the very first strokes. After the second application, I did not have the impression that the nails were covered too much, and the drying process was satisfactory.
• The top coat is applied in the same way as the paint. It had a light and liquid consistency - similar to the base. He shone the plate and hardened his nails.

Of course, it was not without complications. Since I can't sit idly by for long, I decided to write a few sentences on the computer with freshly painted nails. My recklessness resulted in at least a few items getting dirty and two nails missing. I was afraid that after a few minutes such a slightly dried up varnish would be very difficult to wash off. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that he not only quickly washed off, but also did not stain the skin in the process. The fact that I managed not to ruin the remaining nails by soaking a cotton swab, I owe to the skill that I have acquired over the years, ruining a fresh manicure due to hyperactivity.

Durability of INGLOT Natural Origin varnishes

Testing varnishes from the INGLOT Natural Origin collection lasted about 2 weeks. During this time, I was able to use almost all colors without harm to the tiles. Of course, there was a sad moment - one of the worn and red-speckled nails broke. Unfortunately, because in a strategic place, that is, in the middle. I wanted it or not, but all the rest had to be shortened, since I have a beautiful souvenir in the form of a photo.

I waited about 5 days with the first shift before giving in completely to the color frenzy. During this time, I did not spare my hands. I made army-sized vegetable meatballs, did a thorough cleaning of the bookshelf, hand-washed a few delicate items, and typed hundreds of messages and a few texts on the computer keyboard. Effect? Two, maybe three shards on the tip of the nail that I noticed when I washed it off. Inspired by enthusiasm, I started using a different color every other day. Like tests are tests, right?

How are my nails? In addition to the loss in length, which I wrote about earlier, I did not notice any other problems. Does not change color, does not dry. They may not be stronger than they used to be, but I mean I've been using the remover a lot lately. It was an acetone-free formula, but when combined with the highly chemical composition of the paint, it could cause damage. And INGLOT Natural Origin nail polishes are vegan and not tested on animals, which is very important to me. They have a natural composition of 77%, which is a lot for this type of product and allow the nails to breathe. All this has a very positive effect on the comfort of use.

During the tests, I tried to put varnishes on trial. I treated two nails in a “unique way”. On one, before painting, I applied a base of a different brand, and on the other ... nothing at all. I repeated this technique a few more times, improving it by juggling tops. As you can guess, such escapes do not pay off. However, I must admit that everything went well enough to dare to say: if you are not sure about a certain color and do not want to buy the whole set at once, do a test of the paint itself. Only when you decide that this shade is comfortable for you, purchase the base and top. INGLOT Natural Origin color nail products are simply excellent quality and long lasting in their own right.
